A closer look at each practice area, what the engagement includes, and the kind of results you can expect.

Consultant presenting growth strategy to executives

Growth strategy

This engagement starts with a two-week diagnostic. We interview your sales team, review CRM data, and build a channel-by-channel revenue map. The output is a ranked list of growth opportunities with estimated revenue impact and the investment required for each.

In weeks three through eight, we work alongside your team to design the go-to-market plan for the top two or three opportunities. That plan covers pricing, sales messaging, target customer profiles and a 90-day launch calendar.

  • Revenue analysis by channel, segment and geography
  • Competitive positioning review (we interview five to ten of your customers and prospects)
  • Pricing model stress-test against three scenarios
  • 90-day action plan with named owners and weekly milestones

Typical duration: 8 to 10 weeks. Suited to companies between £3m and £50m in annual revenue that feel they have hit a ceiling.

Team analysing a process flow diagram

Operational efficiency

We send a consultant on-site for the first three weeks to observe how work actually moves through your organisation. Not how the handbook says it should move, but what really happens. We time every handoff, document every approval loop, and note where people create workarounds because the official process doesn't fit reality.

The result is a prioritised improvement plan. Each item is scored on two axes: how much it costs to fix and how much money or time it saves per month. Quick wins go first. Larger structural changes get a phased timeline.

  • On-site process observation and time-motion analysis
  • Bottleneck identification with root-cause mapping
  • Technology stack review: are you paying for tools nobody uses?
  • Change implementation support for 4 weeks after the report is delivered

Typical duration: 10 weeks. We have run this programme for logistics companies, professional services firms and food manufacturers. Average cost savings identified: 12% of operating expenses.

Leadership coaching session between senior and junior manager

Leadership development

This is a six-month programme designed for leadership teams of four to twelve people. It begins with a 360-degree feedback exercise: each participant receives structured input from their direct reports, peers and their own manager. We compile the results into an individual development brief that stays confidential between the participant and their coach.

Monthly one-to-one coaching sessions last 90 minutes. Between sessions, each participant works on a practical project tied to a real business challenge, chosen in collaboration with the CEO or MD. Progress is reviewed at each session.

  • 360-degree feedback collection and individual briefing
  • Six monthly coaching sessions per participant
  • Practical project with measurable business outcome
  • Group workshop at month three (team dynamics and decision-making)
  • End-of-programme review with the sponsoring executive

This programme works best when the CEO is genuinely committed to developing their team and willing to give participants time to work on their projects. We will be honest during the scoping call if we think the timing or conditions aren't right.

How an engagement works

Every project follows the same four phases, though the length and depth of each varies by service type.

1

Scoping call

A 45-minute conversation to understand the problem, agree on the outcome you want, and decide whether we are the right fit. No charge, no obligation.

2

Diagnostic

We gather data through interviews, observation and document review. This phase typically lasts two to three weeks and ends with a written findings report.

3

Recommendation

We present a prioritised action plan with clear owners, timelines and expected results. You decide which items to pursue.

4

Implementation support

One of our consultants joins your weekly leadership meeting for four to six weeks to track progress, troubleshoot problems and adjust the plan as needed.
